Warmer days are arriving soon and the Narcissus and Daffodils too. Read this post and go out on the very first sunny days of spring. It was end of November, the days were grey on the plateau. Susanna and I decided to go seek some sun during on the nearby mountain le Suchet. We enjoyed the way to arrive up there but the surprise was when we found the yellow full moon during sunset.
Yesterday, we went in Creux de Terre Nature Reserve in Chavornay. It was a beautiful sunny day and we had a good surprise to be able to observe Purple Herons preparing their nest.
Ramson, also called wild garlic is a plant with a stron garlic taste. You can use the leaves to cook or even the flowers when they are not yet open to do some conserve with vinegar. One of my favorite recipe to do with ramson is pesto but this time we cooked also homemade ramson and ricotta ravioli.
